At Adaptable Recruitment we are Exclusively supporting a well established, mission driven organisation in Liverpool to recruit an Executive Assistant. This role provides dedicated support to senior leaders, ensuring smooth coordination of diaries, governance activity, and key organisational priorities.

Salary: up to £37000 DOE per annum (pro rata, depending on hours)
Location: Liverpool with some North West travel - hybrid working available (after training)
Working pattern: Permanent role, 30-37.5 hours per week (flexible)

About the Role:

A key Executive Assistant position supporting senior leaders within a purpose driven organisation. You'll play a central role in keeping priorities, governance, and day to day operations running smoothly.

Main Responsibilities to Include:

  • Manage the Chief Executive's diary, meetings, and forward planning
  • Coordinate agendas, minutes, follow up actions, and board/governance processes
  • Draft correspondence, manage inboxes, and handle confidential information
  • Support senior leaders with travel, expenses, briefing packs, and planning
  • Oversee administrative workflows, approvals, and documentation
  • Prepare reports, track key organisational activities, and monitor the Risk Register
  • Provide project support on new initiatives and cross team activities
  • Act as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

Ideal Candidate:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communicator with confident written and verbal skills
  • Able to work calmly under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proactive, self motivated, and comfortable using initiative
  • Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, databases)
  • Experienced in minute taking, report writing, and handling sensitive information
  • Comfortable managing a busy workload and supporting senior leaders
  • Collaborative, supportive, and able to build positive relationships
  • Nice to have: Experience in a charity or not for profit environment
