Temporary Payroll Administrator
£34000 per annum
On going for a period of up to 9 months
Liverpool- office based

Adaptable Recruitment are partnering with a growing business in Liverpool who is looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their vibrant team.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end payroll across multiple payroll cycles.
  • Maintain employee payroll records, including starters, leavers and contractual changes.
  • Process payroll inputs including overtime, bonuses, commissions, allowances and salary changes.
  • Administer statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, SPP and other family-related payments.
  • Process pension contributions, enrolments and opt-outs.
  • Validate payroll data and perform payroll reconciliations prior to payment.
  • Generate payroll reports and support month-end and year-end activities.
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC, pension and GDPR requirements.
  • Respond to employee payroll queries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Liaise with HR, Finance and operational teams to ensure payroll accuracy.

Experience Desired

  • Must have previous relevant payroll experience
  • Strong IT skills are essential
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Must be able to prioritise and work to strict deadlines
