Adaptable are delighted to be working with a well established business in North Liverpool who is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their dynamic accounts team on a permanent, full time basis .

Salary and Benefits
Up to £35000
25 days + 8 Bank Holidays
Hybrid working ( 3 days office / 2 days from home )

Job duties and responsibilities

• Assist in managing the key accounts and suppliers and complete monthly statement reconciliations
• Oversee a small team of Purchase Ledger Clerks
• Weekly payment runs
• Support with credit card and expenses process by ensuring VAT has been recorded correctly
• Identifying areas of process improvement and ways to improve efficiency across the ledger

Who will I report into?
This role will report directly into the Finance Manager

Desirable attributes

• Worked in a fast-paced purchase ledger environment with high volumes essential
• Great communications skills to relay key information to other staff
• Good excel and system skills essential
• 3+ years experience in an Accounts Payable role is essential
