Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a role where you can make a real impact, build strong stakeholder relationships, and develop your career within a growing business?

We're partnering with an established organisation with a workforce of approximately 150 employees. Due to the continued evolution of the HR team, we're looking for a proactive HR Advisor to become a trusted partner to managers and employees across the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied generalist role, thrives in a people-focused environment, and wants to take ownership while working closely alongside an experienced HR leader.

The Role

As HR Advisor, you'll support the full employee lifecycle while acting as a key point of contact for employee relations matters, providing practical and commercially focused HR guidance to managers across the business.

You'll work with stakeholders at all levels, from office-based teams through to operational and shop-floor employees, so the ability to adapt your communication style and build credibility quickly is essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising and supporting managers on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance management
  • Supporting the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding
  • Managing HR administration, including contracts, amendments and probation documentation
  • Supporting recruitment activities, including drafting job descriptions, advertising vacancies and coordinating hiring processes
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
  • Assisting with policy implementation and compliance
  • Producing HR reports and people data
  • Supporting a positive employee experience and driving best practice across the business
  • Playing a key role in delivering day-to-day HR operations whilst contributing to longer-term people initiatives

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent)
  • Experienced in a generalist HR role with strong employee relations exposure
  • Comfortable managing ER casework with appropriate support when required
  • Commercially aware and able to balance people and business needs
  • Confident building relationships across both office and operational environments
  • Reliable, approachable and willing to take ownership
  • A strong communicator with the confidence to challenge constructively when needed
  • Organised, pragmatic and proactive in their approach
  • Someone who enjoys working collaboratively and doesn't take themselves too seriously

What's on Offer?

  • Hybrid working with regular office collaboration and flexibility around home working
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Christmas shutdown
  • Additional holiday entitlement opportunities
  • Life Assurance
  • Income Protection Policy
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Breakdown Cover
  • Mental Health First Aiders
  • Supportive and collaborative culture
  • Genuine opportunity to develop and progress your HR career

Recruitment Process

  • Initial Teams interview
  • Face-to-face interview

If you're looking for a role where you can become a trusted HR partner, gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle, and join a business that values development and progression, we'd love to hear from you.
