Logistics Coordinator
Location: Liverpool
Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:30pm
Are you an organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator looking for your next challenge? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected business within the events sector, supporting the delivery of live music, theatre, comedy, corporate events and large-scale productions across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced and collaborative team where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating transport, travel, staffing and logistical arrangements, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standard.
The Role
As Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and managing a variety of logistical requirements across multiple projects, including:
- Coordinating transport schedules and vehicle movements.
- Managing driver and fleet schedules, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Arranging accommodation, flights, trains, ferries and other travel requirements.
- Booking and managing external transport providers and couriers.
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure accurate communication and smooth project delivery.
- Monitoring budgets and negotiating competitive rates with suppliers.
- Raising purchase orders and assisting with general logistics administration.
- Responding quickly and effectively to last-minute changes and operational challenges.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Previous experience within logistics, transport planning or a similar coordination role.
- Knowledge of UK road haulage legislation and transport compliance.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A solutions-focused approach and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Confidence working within a busy office environment.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience arranging business travel and accommodation.
- Experience within the events, entertainment, production or live events sector.
- Supplier management and negotiation experience.
