With an expansive background spanning education, HR, in-house recruitment and executive recruitment in Ireland Australia and her adopted home of Liverpool, Gráinne brings a wealth of experience to her role as Director of Adaptable Recruitment.

 

Working within the HR Recruitment team at Adaptable, Gráinne is respected for her warm, approachable and professional manner. Valuing long lasting relationships Grainne focuses on trust, honesty and efficiency throughout all her dealings with her clients and candidates.

 

With two busy kids and a new puppy, free time is at premium! Gráinne tries to get home to Ireland as often as possible but also enjoys a day out at Anfield.

Rachael Jones

BUSINESS DIRECTOR

Rachael has 27 years recruitment experience working for a multinational recruitment business, specialising in non-qualified finance appointments across Cheshire and Merseyside.

Over the years she has built many strong candidate and client relationships with an honest straight talking and no-nonsense approach. She has experience of working with a diverse client database ranging from growing SMEs to large blue-chip multinationals.

In her spare time, she frequents the gym, attends Zumba and dance classes and loves going to concerts and the ballet. She obviously loves the finer things in life and eating in swanky restaurants!

Laura joined Adaptable after 20 years working in the sales industry across the northwest, building and maintaining strong long lasting relationships. With hard work and great motivation she ensures all work is achieved with an exceptional standard ensuring a positive experience.

Her spare time is spent with children, family & friends, she really enjoys keeping fit going to the gym and spin classes.

Nichola Watson

Nichola joined the Adaptable team in 2022. Originally from Ireland, she relocated to Liverpool following 8 years working in Sales Management in the Beauty Industry.

Nichola is highly motivated with a commitment to providing a positive experience for both candidates and clients. She has a friendly and approachable persona which ensures long-lasting relationships are developed.

In her spare time she enjoys going for walks and spending time with family & friends. Nichola also co-manages a Riverdance troupe which performs at corporate events and special occasions.

Sophie Pallot

RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT

Sophie joined Adaptable in 2025. Originally from Jersey, she relocated to Liverpool for University where she studied Sport Psychology at LJMU.

 

Sophie covers recruitment for all HR roles across the North West. Her personable approach enables her to build genuine and strong relationships with candidates. This consultative approach allows her to understand their needs and motivations in order to place them in roles that benefit both them and their career. This ultimately leads to placing candidates in jobs they love and sourcing talent for clients. 

 

In her spare time Sophie enjoys reading, going to the gym and making herself go for a run!

Danielle decided to move forward into recruitment after a successful career in education and education leadership, bringing with her a strong understanding of people, pressure and performance. She has since thrived in fast-paced, compliance-led recruitment, where she built and developed a desk from the ground up.
With a degree in Business Management and experience working in high-trust, relationship-led roles, Danielle is motivated by making a positive impact and doing things properly. She is known for her calm, people-first approach and ability to build genuine, long-term and meaningful relationships with both clients and candidates.
Having lived and worked abroad in Australia, Danielle brings a flexible, adaptable mindset to her work and is comfortable navigating change and challenges.
Outside of work, she enjoys running, travelling and spending time with friends and family, and is driven by roles that challenge her, align with her values and allow her to grow.

Melanie joined Adaptable Recruitment to launch and lead the technology recruitment division. With years of account management experience, she ensures that both clients and candidates feel heard and truly understood. Recognising that technology functions differ within every organisation, Melanie focuses on aligning not only technical skills but also the cultural values and needs of each business. By creating strong cultural alignment, people thrive in their roles and organisations are set up for long-term success.

 

Outside of work, Melanie keeps up with her two high-energy boys. Whether she’s cheering from the rugby sidelines or dashing between karate and swimming lessons, family time is at the heart of everything she does. Her happy place is a Cornish beach, watching the boys race in and out of the waves.
